Xbox Wi Fi – Improve the signal
This is something that can be a real pain in the backside.
I had to rearrange my whole home network to get the wi fi signal strength consistent enough for game play.

How to Improve your Xbox 360 WiFi
The comments suggest it works great, please let me know how you get on if you try it.
So to greatly improve your xbox wi fi signal strength you’ll need the following:-
- 6 strips of household aluminium foil
- The top off a 2ltr plastic bottle of drink
- A empty clean chip / crisp bag (foil centre – turned inside out)
- A old fork
- A little clear sticky tape (must be clear)
- Your xbox 360 wi fi adaptor
The process again to build your mini xbox wi fi satellite dish:-
- Wrap chip / crisp bag around xbox wi fi adaptor antennae – use tape to hold in place
- Place bottle top over newly wrapped antennae
- Tape fork to xbox wi fi adaptor and inside of bottle top (looks like satellite – of sorts!)
- Wrap the 1st strip of aluminium foil around the fork & bag wrapped wi fi antennae.(looks like a metal tongue poking out the bottle top.
- Wrap the rest of the aluminium around the inside and out of the bottle top so covering the inside and outside surface in aluminium.
Reconnect to your xbox and point your dish in the direction of your network router, and you should have a much better signal.
